CATERPILLAR MATCHING GIFT
Did you know that the Caterpillar Foundation offers a Matching Gifts Program for employees, U.S. retirees and board of directors?. For gifts made, eligible Caterpillar participants may request an annual total maximum match of $10,000 USD each calendar year to eligible charities to which contributions are tax deductible.
Eligible Caterpillar participants are limited to:
- Full & part time Caterpillar, Solar & Progress Rail employees
- U.S.-based Caterpillar retirees
- Caterpillar Board of Directors
Annual Minimus & Maximum
- Gifts must be a tax-deductible, charitable contribution of $25 or more.
- Each Caterpillar participant may request an annual combined total maximum match of $10,000 USD in each calendar year.
HOW TO SUBMIT
(CURRENT EMPLOYEES)
1. Go to Cat Foundation Matching Gifts website by clicking on the button above (will open in a new window)
2 Find “Caterpillar Participants: Request A Match” on right side of screen and click on “Visit Website” directly below it.
First time users: Click on “Create your password”. Use your Caterpillar 7-digit PeopleSoft employee ID# and Cat business email to create your password and account.
Previous users: Login in with your Use your Caterpillar 7-digit PeopleSoft employee ID # and password.
3. Read the “Caterpillar Foundation Employee Engagement Program Acceptance Terms” and accept them by clicking on “I Accept”.
4. Click on “Submit A Match Request for a 2022 Donation”.
5. Enter “Camp Good News” for Organization name and “Illinois” for State, then click on “Search”
6. The following should appear: “CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP IL CHAPTER, CHILD EVANGELISM INC, CAMP GOOD NEWS, 708 E ARCHER AVE, PEORIA, IL, IL, 61603-2636, United States, U.S. Tax ID/EIN: 370909187, campgn@telstar-online.net”. Click on “Select” next to it.
7. Enter the date the gift was made, the total gift amount, the match amount being requested and the gift payment method (note PayPal, credit card, securities and donor advised fund gifts are also acceptable). Then save the entered match request information.
8. Once you have successfully submitted your gift match request to the Caterpillar Foundation, you will receive an email from them confirming it.

(CAT RETIREES)
1. Go to Cat Foundation Matching Gifts website by clicking on the button above (will open in a new window)

3. Call the Caterpillar Human Resources Service Center at 1-800-447-6434 and request your Caterpillar 7-digit PeopleSoft employee ID #.
4. Call the Caterpillar Foundation at 1-309-494-3583 to speak with Erica or Amy to request your Caterpillar Foundation Matching Gifts account email be changed to your personal email.
5. Click on “Create your password”. Use your Caterpillar 7-digit PeopleSoft employee ID # and personal email to create your password and account.
