Atlatls

The Atlatls came to Camp Good News in 2015 as an award activity. Campers who won had the opportunity to try out this awesome Native American Hunting Devices. The atlatl is a small handle like object use to help throw a 6 foot spear farther and faster. It takes a few tries to get the hang of this, but once you do, it's very simple to launch these spears really really far!
